Lance Justice status as a harness racing driver and trainer is Legendary, literally, with the great horseman being inducted as the 2016 Caduceus Club Living Legend.
Lance has trained an amazing 19 Group 1 Winners and has driven 17 to victory in his career spanning 46 years.
The former South Australian, currently based at Melton has produced some amazing Champions including Whirley Dream, Solyola and most recently Smoken Up.
He was the leading S.A. driver from 1991 – 2000 and won the S.A. driving premiership for 10 consecutive years from 1988 through to 98.
In Victoria he has also been the leading metropolitan trainer 5 times and represented Australia on two occasions.
Lance has won:
- The Len Smith Mile TWICE
- The Victoria Cup TWICE
- An amazing FOUR miracle miles
- The Trotters Interdomion
- The Hunter Cup
- FIVE time S.A. Cup winner
And a Record 148.5 mile time in winning the Len Smith with Smoken Up Along with being a Caduceus Club living legend, lance also won the Vin Knight Medal in 2007.
Lance continues to drive and also trains with his partner Dianne Giles and their dedicated support team.
Leilani Justice is also following in her parents footsteps and is a very accomplished rider in her equestrian pursuits.
